No.8 Bowling Green Terrace offers a quiet, restful place to stay, away from the main hustle and bustle of St Ives but is still less than five minutes’ walk to the surfing beach at Porthmeor, the harbour and shops and restaurants in the town, or to the start of longer walks along the coastal path.

If art is your thing then you are perfectly located for Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum, both less than five minutes’ walk away.

St Ives offers everything you need for a fantastic British holiday by the sea at any time of the year. A wide range of places to eat and drink, endless things to do, as well as a fabulous choice of beaches where you can just sit and enjoy the views or go for a dip – all easily walkable from No.8.

St Ives has been a popular holiday destination for years because of its broad appeal – it has a long artistic heritage as well as being perfectly family friendly. The remarkably picturesque town has a number of stunning beaches plus the harbour, both a hive of activity with all the comings and goings at the local restaurants and shops as well as the fishing boats and sail boats.

The pretty, narrow streets of St Ives are chock full of galleries, craft shops, cafes and restaurants with a choice of places to try a cream tea or a local pasty. For your day to day essentials there is a Co-op local, Boots the Chemist and several banks, as well as a large Tesco supermarket on the road to Carbis Bay. There are many exciting activities around town – from surf lessons, to golf, fishing, coastal walks and boat trips.
